Simple Breathing Practice

Through mindful, deep breathing, you can reduce stress, improve focus, and cultivate a greater sense of presence.

Suitable for all levels, this practice offers a quick and effective way to manage stress, enhance your emotional resilience, and feel present.

Written Steps:

1. Close your eyes if that feels comfortable for you. Take a moment to settle in.

2. Now take a deep breath in, through your nose down deep into your tummy.

3. Allow your tummy to gently expand, hold it for a couple of moments allowing that air to absorb any stress/ tension that’s not serving you.

4. Then exhale whenever you’re ready, allowing what’s not serving you to release and transform for your highest good.

5. Take another deep breath in, through your nose down deep into your tummy.

6. Allow your tummy to gently expand, hold it for a couple of moments allowing that air to absorb any stress/ tension that’s not serving you.

7. Then exhale whenever you’re ready, allowing what’s not serving you to release and transform for your highest good.

5 Minute Pause

This simple yet effective Mindfulness Practice involves taking a short break from your daily activities to focus on your breath and observe your thoughts without judgment.

This is an accessible way to incorporate mindfulness into your daily routine and can help you reduce stress, enhance focus, and improve overall well-being.

Steps:

1. Set a timer for 5 minutes.

2. Find a quiet, comfortable place to sit or lie down.

3. Close your eyes, or soften your gaze if you prefer to keep them

open.

4. Bring your attention to your breath. Notice the sensation of air

moving in and out of your body. Allow the rhythm of your breath to

bring you into this present moment.

5. As thoughts arise, simply acknowledge them without judgment and let them pass. Gently redirect your focus back to your breath.

6. Continue this practice until your timer goes off.

7. When you're ready, gently open your eyes or refocus your gaze, and take a few moments to notice any changes in your physical, mental, or emotional state.


Grounding Practices

Root Grounding Practice

This simple practice supports you to feel more grounded & connected to your body.

Written Steps:

1. Take a deep breath in through your nose. Allow that air to go down into your belly.

Allow your belly to gently expand. Hold it for a couple of seconds, then slowly exhale

2. Bring your awareness into your heart

3. See, sense, or feel these beautiful roots coming from your feet going down

through your floor, down through the ground, down into the center of Mother Earth’s

Heart at the core of the Earth.

4. Allow this connection to support you to ground into your body and into the present

moment.

Affirmations:

You can finish with these affirmations or use whatever resonates for you in the moment.
