Exposing the Lies That Keep us Stuck

As believers, we really gotta start laughing at the enemy. Like, legit laughing. Because the devil is a liar.

There’s not enough money? The devil is a liar.
There’s not enough peace? The devil is a liar.
We aren’t enough? The devil is a liar.
There’s too much competition? The devil is a liar.

Why on earth do we keep giving these lies any space in our minds, our lives, or even in our nervous systems? Why do we keep entertaining the nonsense that goes against biblical principles and what we know to be true? It seriously boggles my mind.

This is why being grounded in biblical truth matters. This is why knowing God’s promises, His favor, and His Word is non-negotiable. Because if we really understood the gift Jesus gave us – like really understood it – we wouldn’t keep playing small. We wouldn’t keep boxing God in. We wouldn’t keep giving weight to these worldly systems, fears, and distractions that were never meant to define us.

Let me make this clear:

God created the enemy.

Let that sink in.

I’ll say it again.

God created the enemy.

That means God already knows every single move the enemy is going to make. Every trick. Every scheme. Every lie meant to throw us off track, make us doubt ourselves, or disconnect us from God’s truth. God already knows. And yet, He remains unshaken. He remains sovereign. He remains loving and ever-present.

God has never left or forsaken us. The only time it feels like He has is when we start believing the enemy’s lies over God’s truth. When we stop listening to the Holy Spirit, when we let fear, doubt, and confusion dictate our choices – that’s when we do ourselves a disservice. That’s when we shrink, when we second-guess, when we put ourselves in boxes God never designed for us.

So when people come up to you talking about:

“There’s so much competition.”The devil is a liar.
“You’re not good enough.”The devil is a liar.
“You have to do X, Y, and Z just to be worthy.”The devil is a liar.
“There’s not enough to go around.”The devil is a liar.

And instead of just saying it, start laughing at it.

Seriously. Laugh. Because it’s ridiculous. It’s actually comical when you think about it. The enemy has no power except what we give him through fear and doubt. The minute we stop feeding into it, he loses. Every single time.

So stand firm. Know who you are. Know who God is. And laugh at anything that dares to challenge that. Because at the end of the day, we already know the outcome. And it sure isn’t the enemy who wins.

Remember, Together in Christ we Rise.
